Regional Lead group
Objectives and scope of activities
The Regional Lead NHS Health Check group facilitates effective matrix working across the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities’ National, Regional and Centre teams and leads on collaborative implementation, oversight and support of the NHS Health Check programme in England. Specifically, the group:
- supports OHID in delivering its national priority programme of work set out in the NHS Health Check Implementation Review and Action Plan
- shows leadership through members’ communications with relevant agencies, organisations and external stakeholders involved in the programme
- brings together a national intelligence network of local authority implementation of the programme with OHID's national team to ensure effective communication
- is continuously reactive to additional local needs identified through established regional and centre networks.
