Local Implementer National Forum (LINF)
Objective and scope of activities
LINF brings together local authority NHS Health Check implementers (with representation from local authorities from all the OHID Centre areas, to ensure good geographical coverage) and members of relevant teams from OHID offices. It provides an invaluable link between local implementation and delivery of the programme, and OHID national and centre teams.
The objectives of the group are to:
- ensure that local authority implementers are regularly engaged and involved with OHID and the breadth of governance groups and structures, and to facilitate their role in shaping and driving the national NHS Health Check agenda.
- act as a consultation group which has detailed and expert knowledge on implementation of the NHS Health Check programme, and to provide advice and feedback on projects, materials and proposals developed or promoted by OHID.
- provide a forum in which local authority implementers can raise points for discussion with both their local authority peers and OHID, and to consider where there is benefit in engaging other programme networks and groups on issues raised.
- facilitate a space in which learning and best practice on implementation can be shared and communicated between implementers and OHID teams.
The scope of the group's activities include all issues relating to the successful implementation of the NHS Health Check programme throughout the different regions.
