Promoting the programme locally

This video is an example of how Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, an NHS Health Check provider, have used media to promote the programme. The film uses humour to engage with people who wouldn't normally respond to a more formal NHS message.

Behavioural insights

Work is on-going with a number of local authorities to test various invitation letters based on behavioural insights principles. It is hoped to an invitation letter template can then be developed once empirical data has demonstrated its effectiveness. This research will take some time to carry out but in the meantime you can develop your own by referring to the presentations from the NHS Health Check National Conference in February 2014.
